[close] Welcome to the WIG Book Club – a safe, inclusive community of readers exploring healing, hypersexuality, pleasure, and empowerment through books. Created by the Wanted It Group (WIG), this group is for anyone who experiences or supports those navigating hypersexuality as a trauma response. We read fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, and everything in between that inspires growth, reflection, redirection, and joy. Whether you're here to find community, explore identity, feel understood, or simply read books that get it – you're in the right place. Expect monthly reads, discussion prompts, themed book lists, and space to just… be.

[close] We will be reading literary books by women from all over the world, whether originally written in English, or translated from another language. Join us to discover, and discuss the work of, many wonderful female authors. Everyone is welcome! We also have a Reading Challenge, the idea of which is to read one book from every country in the world over an extended period of time. The books can be either set in the country, or by an author born in that country. All of the authors must be female, or identify as female. You can, of course, choose to read any genre, fiction and non-fiction. There is no challenge deadline; simply read at your own pace. Books can be read in any order, and at any time.

[close] This group is for readers, writers, and thinkers who believe the stories we tell—and the ones we’ve forgotten—shape the world we live in. We gather to explore erased histories, challenge limiting narratives, and reimagine what equality truly means. At the heart of this group is a living philosophy: Equality Without Distinction The belief that every contribution holds value—not because of a person’s gender, background, or status, but because of what they bring to the table. It’s not about labels. It’s about contribution. We’re not here to tick boxes or flatten differences. We’re here to rethink the systems that still define people by categories rather than capabilities. We look at the past not just to learn, but to ask better questions: What was lost when balance gave way to hierarchy? Whose voices were buried beneath the dominant story? What would it look like to build a future that honours every contribution? If you’re tired of shallow conversations about progress… If you’re curious about what equality can be beyond quotas and tokenism… If you believe real change starts with honest, thoughtful discussion… Welcome. The next chapter is ours to write—together.
