Paramount launches 2026 Oscars campaign with ‘Mission: Impossible,’ ‘Roofman,’ and ‘The Running Man’

Paramount Pictures has officially unveiled the films included in its 2026 “For Your Consideration” awards campaign.

Leading the slate is Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, the latest installment of Tom Cruise’s blockbuster franchise; Roofman, the true-crime dramedy starring Channing Tatum as friendly thief Jeffrey Manchester; and The Running Man, a futuristic thriller directed by Edgar Wright and led by Glen Powell.

The studio, founded in 1912, has been behind some of Hollywood’s most celebrated movies — including 11 Best Picture winners — from inaugural champ Wings (1927) to classics like The Godfather (1972) and Titanic (1997), which together earned Paramount a total of 110 Academy Awards over the decades. In recent years, Paramount has balanced commercial juggernauts with prestige dramas, including Top Gun: Maverick and Killers of the Flower Moon, both of which scored multiple Oscar nominations.

Will Paramount’s latest lineup continue that momentum? We’ll find out when Oscar nominations are announced Jan. 22, ahead of the 98th Academy Awards on March 15.

Below is Paramount’s 2025 awards slate, listed alphabetically by film, along with the official synopsis, filmmakers, and category submissions.  (To see all of the below-the-line artisans, visit the official website.)
