Newsbrief: The latest beta client build for Valve's Steam digital distribution platform adds remote management functionality, allowing users to download and install games to a home computer from a remote source. Registered Steam users can access the official Steam website from a remote computer or mobile device and manage their game library. If a home computer is logged into the Steam client, it's then possible to download and install Steam games onto the computer remotely. This new service is similar to Microsoft's own Xbox Live service, which allows Xbox 360 users to purchase and download games to an Xbox console from inside a web browser remotely.
