Notre-Dame de Paris (“Our Lady of Paris”) also called Notre-Dame Cathedral or simply Notre-Dame is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals in the world. Notre-Dame is located on Île de la Cité (island in the Seine River), in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. Notre-Dame Cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
