Evan is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where he studied Business and English: Language, Media and Communication.

Evan Coleman joined the Forbes Advisor team in 2023 as an intern with the Credit Cards and Travel Rewards vertical before becoming an Updates Editor. He began his journey as a writer contributing to nonprofits and college blogs, before combining his business studies and interest in writing to create blog content for a search engine optimization company. He continued to work as a writer and journalist for a local news source, interviewing local businesses and covering arts and culture.

Forbes Advisor allows Evan to combine his writing background with his interests in personal finance, credit cards and travel. He is passionate about helping young people set themselves up for financial success and find innovative ways to travel on a budget.

Evan’s current travel goal is to visit a major city in all 50 states. Outside of traveling, Evan is an avid theatergoer, finding discounted tickets and attempting to see a show in every Broadway theater.
