Meet Jannell Haskins — a bus driver with Fairfax County Public Schools who has been safely transporting students for nearly 32 years. Every morning she arrives at the Stonecroft Transportation Center before sunrise, completes a thorough pre-trip inspection, and then brings dozens of children to school on her route.
But this is more than a job. For Janelle, it’s a mission:
• She ensures all emergency equipment and lights are functioning.
• She welcomes students with a smile and treats each one like family.
• She educates, encourages, and builds community — one ride at a time.
