Very predictable result when third rankedTarn.Gory (21-3) rolled over 9th ranked Cracovia (11-13) in Krakow 93-69 on Saturday. Tarn.Gory looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tarn.Gory made 7 blocks. The winners were led by Ukrainian swingman Yaroslav Fomichov (196-1994) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Patryk Wieczorek (188-1996) supported him with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by guard Dawid Golus (186-1999) did not help to save the game for Cracovia . Forward Grzegorz Idziak (196-2004) added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tarn.Gory and four Cracovia players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarn.Gory have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with AGH Krakow. Loser Cracovia keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost.
