Darussafaka inks J'Covan Brown

J'Covan Brown

Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (TBL) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old American guard J'Covan Brown (190cm-92kg-1990, college: Texas) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Brown played last season at Austin's Own (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Brown is quite experienced player. He has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Brown has played previously professionally in Greece (AEK Betsson, KAO Dramas and Rethymno), Israel (Hapoel Gilboa Galil, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem and Afula), Kazakhstan (Astana), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Turk Telekom), Dominican Republic (Caneros) and The Basketball Tournament (Program for Autism). His team won Israeli Cup in 2019 and 2020. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention back in 2014 and 2016.
Brown graduated from University of Texas in 2012 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
