The Projects
For more than a dozen years, ENR’s Global Best Projects Awards has enlisted industry experts to review a broad pool of project entries from around the world.
This year, judges selected for recognition 32 projects located in 24 countries, among 95 submissions, that are exemplary examples of innovation, quality and hurdles overcome in global design and construction.
While some of these projects have been written about before in ENR pages or online, most are being highlighted for the first time.
Reviewing entries in many market sectors, judges examined engineering and building challenges, benefits to local communities and the industry, as well as dedication to safety and environment. A special emphasis was placed on teamwork and collaboration.
For Project of the Year finalists, judges and ENR editors chose three intriguing entries, with Limberlost Place in Toronto receiving the top award.
Read more in the following pages about the winning projects, which also were recognized in a virtual awards program that can be viewed at www.globalbestprojects.com.
