Hi,
I am new to power electronics and I am designing a dual active bridge. Where do I find the equations for calculation of leakage inductance, magnetizing inductance, and calculating the gain values for controls ?

Please post the links if you have any.

Thank you

Hello,
the dual active bridge is one of the most complicated topologies...I don't want to be rude, but I recommend you start with something simpler if you are new to power electronics. Buck converter, Forward converter or maybe flyback converter, which is well known and documented.

Cheers,
Tim

Thanks but I want to learn this topology and I need to design it at work.
I have a working LTspice and a PLECS model that gives out desired power and output with Singla Phase Shifting (between the two bridges of the DAB). To calculate the leakage I used a thesis from University of Arkansas and the magnetizing inductance was a trial and error. Lmag = 30uH and L_leakage = 0.15uH. However I cannot figure out the control loop in PLECS.

Please let me know if you know where to find the resources or have any simulation models I can use.

Thank you

hey
hiii! can you help me in this .. the link youprovied above are useful iof you find any paper that include my dab converter parameters please share also
I am making a DAB with an input of 400 V, an output of 48 V, an FSW of 50 kHz, and a power rating of 1 kW.
Also mention that the values I inserted are calculated: L1 is 4.6 µH, while Lp and Ls came from ANSYS Maxwell software, and the coupling coefficient K = 0.58 also came from it.
The issue is that my output should be 48 V, but it is still 21 V.
The MOSFETs I used are already built into SPICE, and they are compatible—you can check.
If anyone can help me find the libraries for the HV-side MOSFET SiHG039N60E-GE3, the LV-side MOSFET IRF80NF70, and the Si823 gate driver library, I would appreciate it.
Also, please help me understand how I can patch the gate-driver circuits into my simulation.
