Phyllis Ann Kessler
Kessler (Gershgol) Phyllis Ann, 72, of Las Vegas passed away April 22, 2008. She was born in Duluth, on Jan. 6, 1936 to David and Ruth Gershgol of Gershgol Family Markets. Survived by husband, Morris (Moishe) Klevansky; sons, Irvin (Rob) Kessler and wife, Barb, and Rick Kessler; brothers, Gerald Gershgol, Stanley (Ricki) Gershgol; grandchildren, Brett, Bari, and Ben Kessler; special 'baby', Shaina; and many loving family and friends. Phyllis was an avid bridge player and was a Life Master. She played on the Israeli National Team while she lived in Israel for several years. She was also an excellent poker player, and won the Binyans World Series of Poker Women's Championship in 1993. She brought an abundance of joy to her family and friends. Special thanks to Phyllis' caregivers both in Minneapolis and Las Vegas. FUNERAL SERVICE:3 p.m. Thursday, (Today) Bet Shalom Congregation, 13613 Orchard Rd., Minnetonka.
