Fields and other parts of an issue

When you create an issue, you will need to provide values for various fields in the issue add page; some will have defaults that are specific to the project you are creating the issue in. When you add a comment to an issue, you can update the values of the issue fields in addition to adding a comment.

The pages in this section provide information on the fields and other parts of an issue, and guidelines for what their values should be.
