Loose Women star Kaye Adams has been taken off her BBC Radio Scotland show following an internal complaint made about her behaviour, with the broadcaster confirming that it has launched an investigation into it.
The journalist, who was a contestant on the 2022 series of Strictly Come Dancing, is one of the presenters on the station's Mornings programme.
Over the weekend, the BBC said that she has been taken off the show, but it did not say whether that was temporary or not. At the time of writing, she has not permanently left the corporation.

The nature of the complaint has not been confirmed, while a spokesperson for Adams said that no complaints had been presented to the star.
"We would not comment on individuals," the BBC Scotland press office said. "If any complaints or concerns are raised, we have robust internal processes in place to manage these."

At the time of writing, Adams has not publicly responded to her removal on social media, although she still mentions the station in her bio on both Instagram and X.
As Loose Women is made by and aired on ITV rather than the BBC, it is expected that she will remain on that show.
Digital Spy has reached out to Adams' rep for comment.

Following the Huw Edwards scandal, the BBC commissioned an independent report into the behaviour of on-air talent and management across the board at the corporation, which led to a 'Call It Out' initiative to stamp out toxic workplace culture.
In July, BBC chairman Samir Shah said: "Our staff are dedicated, hardworking and treat each other with respect.
"However, there are pockets in the organisation where this is not the case. There are still places where powerful individuals - on and off-screen - can abuse that power to make life for their colleagues unbearable."
He confirmed at the time that multiple BBC staff members had been sacked due to their behaviour. The scandals surrounding MasterChef presenters Gregg Wallace and John Torode also broke around the same time.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX. Mornings is broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Sounds from 9pm on weekdays.
