These deals are a continuation of the price drops we saw on Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025, with other retailers now reverting back to the standard RRP.
Black Friday also saw the introduction of a PS5 FC 26 Bundle and a PS5 Fortnite bundle that included a bunch of exclusive Fortnite extras and 1,000 V-Bucks, but these are largely sold out and now unavailable across most retailers, unless you can get lucky on an Argos click and collect order.
The best offers seem to only be available at PlayStation Direct now, with Very offering small discounts on bundles including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

The console comes with 2TB of storage, and it's also the same size and width as the current PS5 Slim consoles.
Elsewhere, the PS5 Pro has added an improved GPU with 67% more compute units and 28% faster RAM for memory for loading games and general performance speed. This will mean smoother frame rates and reduced load times.
Meanwhile, Sony has also added PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, AI upscaling, and finally, there's Advanced Ray Tracing, using the increased power to display those super shiny surfaces, outputting at double and triple the speed of the current console.
Other enhancements include PS5 Pro Game Boost, which can apply to more than 8,500 backwards-compatible PS4 games playable on PS5 Pro. Additionally, VRR and 8K gaming are also supported.

PS5 Slim vs PS5 Pro – Which should I buy?
The long-rumoured PlayStation 5 Slim launched in November 2023. The standard consoles were replaced by the PS5 Slim as stock became unavailable, and most of the remaining original consoles sold out during Black Friday in 2023.
In September 2024, the PS5 Pro was announced with pre-orders starting on September 26, and the console was released on November 7, 2024.
We won't be able to make a full comparison until we can try out the PS5 Pro, but the main points to know are that it's the same size as the PS5 Slim and now comes with a 2TB hard drive. There's no disc drive, which means you'll need to purchase that separately.
In terms of features, Sony's blog lists the following changes for the PS5 Pro:
- Upgraded GPU: Upgraded to a GPU that has 67% more Compute Units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
- Advanced Ray Tracing: Even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This allows the rays to be cast at double, and at times triple, the speeds of the current PS5 Slim console.
- AI-Driven Upscaling: PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution is an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super-sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
The big changes for the PS5 Slim were that it was 30% smaller than the classic PS5, which launched in 2020, as well as packing an expanded 1TB hard drive (current size is 825GB with 667.2GB of usable space). The bigger hard drives will be in both the PS5 Slim Digital Edition and PS5 Slim Disc Edition.
There is also a detachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive available for purchase, to allow Digital Edition owners to benefit from discs in case they change their minds later.
The PS5 Pro has more storage and will have better performance, load times, and ray tracing, and will also upgrade older games you play via backwards compatibility. But it does mean purchasing the disc drive separately if you want to play physical games, which comes as standard with the PS5 Slim disc model.
Both consoles will still allow you to swap the face plates.
However, if you already own a PS5 console, and are wondering whether to upgrade, it'll come down to performance, visuals and whether you really want to get the most out of the games you're playing.
- PS5 Pro RRP £699.99
- PS5 Slim disc console RRP £479.99
- PS5 Slim digital edition console RRP £389.99
- Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive RRP £69.99
PlayStation Portal UK stock – where to buy?
Sony's PlayStation Portal (RRP £199.99) allows you to play its titles more comfortably while on the go. The portable console lets you stream games from your PS5 console and has an 8-inch LCD screen in between two halves of a DualSense controller.
We've rounded up the best deals here, along with which retailers have it in stock.
Elsewhere, you can buy the PlayStation VR2 (click for the best deals), which brings the next stage of VR gaming to the console.
The company has also released a DualSense Edge Wireless Controller (£209), which features much more customisation in terms of button placement and sensitivity – ideal for pro gamers.
The Amazon Spring Sale, Amazon Prime Day in Summer, Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale in October, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday are usually the main times for discounts towards the end of the year ahead of Christmas.
PlayStation's store also runs its own sales from time to time – notably its Days of Play event.
During these sales, expect deals on PS5 games and accessories like the DualSense controller – with discounts on PlayStation Plus gift cards, too.
