What is Know2Protect?

Know2Protect is a Department of Homeland Security national public awareness campaign to:

  • Educate and empower children, teens, parents, trusted adults and policymakers to prevent and combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA).
  • Explain how to report online enticement and victimization.
  • Offer response and support resources for victims and survivors of online child sexual exploitation.
  • Join the Pledge2Protect Movement

Pledge2Protect is the official call-to-action of the Know2Protect campaign. Our goal is to create a global movement to galvanize society to take action and prevent crimes of exploitation targeting kids and teens online. Everyone has a place in this fight, and Pledge2Protect is an opportunity to help protect children, learn more and educate communities about how to prevent this crime.
