Sportsmen’s Expo opens today
NOON-9 P.M. | The 29th annual International Sportsmen’s Exposition opens today at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th St. Exhibits and information on camping, hunting, fishing, children’s activities and more are included. The show is open noon to 9 p.m. today and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $12, free for kids 12 and under. Visit sportsexpos.com.
Art dedication at the Ellie
5:30-7 P.M. | The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs’ Public Art Program is presenting a dedication ceremony at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, 14th and Curtis streets. Dedicated works include “Maria Mosina and Igor Vassine,” by John DeAndrea and “Rehearsal,” by Stehen Batura.
String quartet plays Haydn and Ravel
7:30 P.M. | LITTLETON The recently formed Littleton Chamber Music Society presents the Mercury Ensemble String Quartet in a concert of works by Haydn and Ravel at the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, 1609 W.
