-- The Russian embassy in Sofia has responded to the sharp criticism levelled at it by Bulgaria´s Foreign Ministry over an exhibition planned to commemorate the September 9 1944 Red Army invasion of Bulgaria (24 Chasa, Trud, Monitor, Duma)

-- Bulgarian President Rumen Radev spelt out a critical view of the country at the opening of the new session of the parliament, and put forward proposals that he said would make Bulgaria a "normal European country" (Duma, Sega, Trud)
