-- A total of 378 people died in accidents on Bulgaria´s roads between January 1 and August 31 2019 compared to 355 in the first eight months previous year, the Interior Ministry said (Trud, Monitor)

-- Moody´s credit ratings agency has affirmed Bulgaria´s credit rating at Baa2 and raised the outlook from stable to positive, citing Bulgaria´s stronger fiscal position and improved economic growth prospects (Monitor, Trud)

-- Champions Ludogorets moved to the top of the Bulgarian soccer league after a laboured 1-0 win over Botev Vratsa. Levski Sofia are second after a 2-2 draw against bitter city rivals CSKA (Tema Sport, 24 Chasa, Trud, Sega)
