Report: Fraser front-runner for Rapids job

Toronto FC assistant coach Robin Fraser is the front-runner to be the Colorado Rapids' next head coach, ESPN reported.

Fraser, 52, has been an MLS head coach before, compiling a 15-32-21 record in two seasons with Chivas USA from 2011-12.

Conor Casey has been the Rapids' interim coach since Anthony Hudson was fired on May 1 with a record of 8-26-9.

Colorado (2-9-2, eight points) ranks last in the Western Conference entering Wednesday night's road game against the Philadelphia Union.

During his playing career, Fraser earned 28 caps with the U.S. national team and made 145 MLS appearances. He played with the Rapids from 2001-03.
