Bruins acquire F Johansson from Devils

The Boston Bruins announced Monday they acquired forward Marcus Johansson in a trade with the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils will receive a second-round pick in 2019 and a fourth-rounder in 2020 in exchange for the nine-year NHL veteran.

Johansson, 28, has 12 goals and 15 assists in 48 games with the Devils this season.

He joined the Devils in a July 2017 trade with Washington after tallying 290 points in 501 games with the Capitals from 2010-17.

With the NHL's fourth-worst record entering Monday, New Jersey was a seller at the trade deadline. The Devils sent backup goalie Keith Kinkaid to the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier Monday and dealt defenseman Ben Lovejoy to the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
