Lions WR Jones placed on IR
Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones was placed on injured reserve on Monday.
To replace Jones on the 53-man roster, the Lions signed linebacker Nicholas Grigsby from the practice squad.
Jones has been sidelined since Nov. 11 with a knee injury.
He had 35 catches for 508 yards and five touchdowns in 2018.
With Jones out of the lineup and Golden Tate gone -- the Lions shipped Tate to the Eagles at the trade deadline -- Kenny Golladay has emerged as the team's No. 1 receiver. Running back Theo Riddick has been getting snaps as slot receiver since Jones' injury.
