Mets C Plawecki (hand) out 2-3 weeks

Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki will be placed on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to April 12 with a hairline fracture in his left hand.

Plawecki was plunked by a pitch in Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins and joins starting catcher Travis d'Arnaud on the DL. The Mets placed d'Arnaud on the disabled list with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow, which could require season-ending surgery.

Plawecki could return in two weeks or miss up to four weeks depending on his recovery from the non-displaced fracture.

Rookie Tomas Nido is expected to get more time and the Mets recalled Jose Lobaton.
