-- Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said that he had received Russian Patriarch Kirill earlier this month as a spiritual leader but "he chose to leave as a politician". On March 3 Bulgaria marked the 140th anniversary of the signing of the San Stefano Treaty that ended the 1877-1878 Russo-Turkish war but Kirill said he was aggrieved by what he called Bulgaria's attempts to dilute his country´s role in the war (Trud, Standart, 24 Chasa)

-- Bulgaria's exports to European Union's countries rose by 10.8 percent on an annual basis in 2017, reaching 34.5 billion levs ($21.9 billion), the statistics office said. Main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, Belgium and France which accounted for 67.5 percent of the exports to the EU states (Standart, Monitor, Trud)

-- The Judicial Council of the Supreme Judicial Council failed to elect the chairman of the Sofia City Court as neither of the two candidates gathered the minimum needed eight votes (Trud, Monitor)
