- Russian President Vladimir Putin's rating has fallen sharply in Moscow and St Petersburg ahead of a March 18 election, the daily says. However, nearly 70 percent of people nationwide say they still plan to vote for him. His rating in Moscow and St. Petersburg fell to 57.1 percent in mid-February from 69.7 percent a month earlier however, the paper says.

- Private investors invested a record almost 12 billion roubles in Russian mutual funds in February, the daily says. Net inflows exceeded 11.8 billion roubles ($207.52 million), 1.5 times more than in January, and 20 percent more than the previous record which was set at the end of 2017, it says.
