- Europe's largest hotel chain AccorHotels will open a second luxury hotel in Moscow. The 142-room hotel will open in 2019 and will be the first one under the Fairmont brand in Russia, the newspaper reports, referring to AccorHotels regional director Alexis Delaroff. Investment in its construction will amount to 8 billion roubles ($138.50 million), the newspaper writes, citing a representative of real estate developer Vesper.

- Kaspersky Lab, an international company working in the field of information security, has acknowledged it accidentally copied secret programmes of U.S. special services, as reported by the media. The company insists that it happened by accident and the files were erased.

- The Russian government is ready to reduce the mineral extraction tax for joint ventures of gas giant Gazprom with foreign investors. The newspaper writes that first and foremost the talk is about joint venture with Germany's Wintershall and Austria's OMV.
