- The thinktank led by former Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin proposes raising the retirement age in Russia to 63 years for women and 65 years for men. As a result, the number of pensioners will be reduced by 9 percent, allowing the state to save on budget spending, the daily reports.

- The head of Russian gas giant Gazprom, Alexei Miller, said the company may partner with Novatek, a large Russian independent gas producer, to produce liquefied natural gas and development gas processing at the Tambeyskoye group of fields.
