A new facility to assemble and test engines for Russia's navy has been opened by President Putin in the town of Rybinsk, the daily reports. It says the factory is part of a plan for Russia to start making military industrial components that it previously bought from Ukraine.
The number of officials dismissed for corruption increased threefold year-on-year in 2016, the newspaper cites Yuri Chaika, Russia's prosecutor general, as saying.
