MANUFACTURING PMI
Markit will publish Poland's January manufacturing PMI at 0800 GMT. Analysts polled by Reuters expect the index to fall to 54 compared to 54.3 in December.
PGNiG
Poland's gas firm PGNiG plans to increase gas output in Norway to 2.0-2.5 billion cubic metres (BCM) by 2023 from 0.5-0.7 bcm now, Parkiet daily said quoting the company's spokesman as saying.
TAX REVENUES
Value added tax (VAT) revenues fell by 50 percent year on year in December to around 5 billion zlotys ($1.25 billion), Rzeczpospolita daily said citing finance ministry data.
WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE
Poland's financial market regulator KNF delays its approval of Rafal Antczak as the new CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange due to the candidate's short working experience in financial institutions, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily said quoting unnamed sources.
POLITICS
Ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party plans to merge Warsaw with 32 surrounding towns in one constituency in a move which the opposition says is designed to boost Jaroslaw Kaczynski's party chances in 2018 municipal election in Poland's capital, Gazeta Wyborcza daily said.
