UPDATE 5-NATO agrees to reinforce eastern Poland, Baltic states against Russia
WARSAW, July 8 (Reuters) - NATO leaders agreed on Friday to deploy military forces to the Baltic states and eastern Poland for the first time and increase air and sea patrols to reassure allies who were once part of the Soviet bloc following Russia's seizure of Crimea from Ukraine.
POLL-Zloty seen recovering from Brexit hit by end of 2016 -
BUDAPEST, July 8 (Reuters) - Analysts expect the zloty to catch up with other Central European currencies and recover by the end of 2016 versus the euro, after a hit from Britain's June 23 referendum decision to quit the European Union.
'Balkan route' still open to migrants, Serbian minister warns
BELGRADE, July 8 (Reuters) - Around 100,000 migrants from Middle East, Asia and Africa have passed through Serbia so far in 2016 despite the closure of the so-called 'Balkan route' which hundreds of thousands used last year to reach Western Europe, a Serbian minister said.

BUDAPEST, July 8 (Reuters) - Hungarian headline consumer price inflation HUCPIY=ECI came in at -0.2 percent year-on-year in June, the same as a -0.2 percent reading in May, data showed on Friday, mainly as fuel and food price moves cancelled each other out.
Hungary's prelim May trade surplus 755 mln euros, beats forecast
BUDAPEST, July 8 (Reuters) - Hungary posted a foreign trade surplus of 755 million euros in May after a 989 million euro surplus in April, according to preliminary data, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Friday.

BUDAPEST/VIENNA, July 7 (Reuters) - Border checks by Austria that have caused long queues on the Hungarian side of the frontier in recent days are unjustified, Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Thursday.
