- The value and ratio of China's commercial banks non-performing loans (NPLs) are 1.2 trillion yuan ($187.86 billion) and 1.59 percent respectively, according to a report from China Orient Asset Management Corporation.

- China's grain demand will be around 700 billion kilograms (kg) by 2020, when there will be roughly 100 billion kg production shortfall, according to industry estimates.
- China's bank institutions dealt with over 27 billion electronic payments with a total value of 553 trillion yuan ($86.57 trillion) in the Q3 of 2015, according to central bank data.

- China's western Xinjiang region will spend 200 billion yuan ($31 billion) to build power grids over the next five years, helping connect the resource-rich area with the populous east coast, a source at Xinjiang Electric Power Co said.
