STANDART - Russia's Rosatom Service said it has completed an upgrade of Unit 6 of Bulgaria's Kozloduy nuclear power plant designed to extend its lifespan. The modernisation of the 1,000-megawatt Unit 6 included the replacement of the stator of the turbo generator with a new one as part of a planned increase in installed capacity to 1100 MW
-- Fourteen people were injured as two trams collided in Bulgarian capital Sofia. Seven of the injured were transported to hospital, while the other people affected in the collision were provided with medical aid on the spot. There is no information of any heavy injuries (Standart, 24 Chasa, Sega, Duma).
