DATA

Polish central bank will publish its FX reserves data for July at 1200 GMT.

BANKS

Polish banks fell heavily on Thursday after deputies approved a bill allowing homeowners to convert their Swiss franc mortgages into zlotys, a move which could double the cost to lenders to $5 billion.

TAURON

Polish state-controlled utility holds a supervisory board meeting on Friday, which is to decide on possible changes to the management board, daily Puls Biznesu reported.

COAL MINES

State-run Polish companies KGHM, Azoty, PGNiG, Tauron, and PGE are still in talks over their engagement in a state fund aimed at aiding Poland's loss-making coal mines, daily Gazeta Wyborcza reported.

PKN Orlen and Energa may also be involved, it said.

U.S. MILITARY

U.S. military has taken interest in former military barracks in Ciechanow, central Poland, daily Rzeczpospolita reported, adding that tanks may station there.
