CEE MARKETS 2-BONDS EXTEND GAINS, LIFTING FORINT TO 9-MONTH HIGH

BUDAPEST, Feb 26 (Reuters) - The forint touched 9-month highs against the euro on Thursday as investors bought Central European government bonds, encouraged by expectations for interest rate cuts in the region.

BUDAPEST, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Magyar Telekom MTEL.BU plans to review its retail energy market operations this year due to the planned entry of a state-owned power holding company, Chief Financial Officer Janos Szabo said on Thursday.

Magyar Telekom expects to resume dividend payments on its 2015 results, the Deutsche Telekom unit said on Wednesday, adding that it planned to pay at least 15 forints per share.

HUNGARY'S Q4 INVESTMENT GROWTH SLOWS TO 1.9 PCT Y/Y BUDAPEST, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Hungary's investments rose by an annual 1.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014 after a 16.3 percent annual rise in the third quarter, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Thursday.
