AVERAGE WAGE DATA
Romania's national statistics board to release average wage data for December.
DEBT TENDER
Romania sold a planned 600 million lei ($155.62 million) worth of June 2019 treasury bonds on Thursday, with the average accepted yield at 1.99 percent, central bank data showed.
IMF
An International Monetary Fund is in Bucharest until Feb. 10 to assess the European Union member's progress in meeting the terms of its 4 billion euro precautionary aid deal.
CEE MARKETS
Central European currencies regained strength on Thursday as a market scare over the ECB's ban on Greek bonds subsided, with the Czech crown also holding ground after its central bank said it would delay an expected exit from its weak crown policy.
ROMGAZ
Romanian state-owned gas producer Romgaz said on Thursday it has signed additional deals to sell gas to Electrocentrale Bucuresti and Electrocentrale Galati worth 610.7 million lei overall.
EU GROWTH ESTIMATES FOR ROMANIA
Romania is expected to post economic growth of 2.7 percent this year and 2.9 percent in 2016, according to the European Commission's winter forecasts, released on Thursday.
