ECB warns of further delays in payments as system is disrupted
FRANKFURT, Feb 27 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank on Thursday warned lenders of further delays in the settlement of payments as it sought to resolve an outage that had already lasted seven hours in its Target systems.
"The failover activities are taking more time than expected and are planned to be completed within the next 30 minutes," the ECB said in an update with a 1600 GMT timestamp.
"The cut-off for customer payments and the cut-off for interbank payments will be further adjusted once normal operations have been resumed." (Reporting By Francesco Canepa;Editing by Elaine Hardcastle)
