PRINCE VISITS SICK JACK RUSSELL
The Prince of Wales visited a sick Jack Russell and admired watercolours during a trip to the northernmost tip of Britain.
Charles visited North Highland College Centre for Game Keeping and Veterinary Nursing, near Halkirk in Caithness, a few miles south of the most northern point in the British mainland.
The Prince, who is known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, spoke to veterinary students as they were treating a dog with a heart condition.

Jennifer Ironside, Michelle Pritchard and Sarah Mackenzie introduced Jasper, a Jack Russell with a heart murmur, which Charles then listened to himself with their stethoscope.
He later visited an art exhibition by the Society of Caithness Artists, at Thurso High School, where he met artists who have created almost 400 exhibits - which include two painted by Charles himself.
Although his are not for sale, the majority of the other pieces of artwork are, with price tags ranging from £15 to £2,000, and including sculptures, glass-art, and pottery.
Artist Elaine Rapson-Grant said: "When the duke spoke to me about my work, he knew it was a watercolour - it takes an expert to know that.
Her colleagues agreed, Barbara Myatt adding: "It is nice to know that he is so interested in our society and we are very fortunate."
Fellow artist Jenny Bruce said: "He asked if I was a trained artist and he was aware of my style of art, which is industrial architecture."
