CHEPSTOW CALLED OFF
Chepstow's meeting on August 6 has been abandoned following an inspection.
Richard Linley, the British Horseracing Authority's senior inspector of courses, was on hand to see how the course is recovering from an unusual problem.
Nematodes, which feed on the roots of plants and can possibly cause instability to racing surfaces with their activity, have damaged limited areas on the course.
A further inspection will take place on August 6 with regard to the meeting scheduled for August 14.
