BE MORE RADICAL, MORGAN URGED
The new education secretary Nicky Morgan has been urged to be more radical than her predecessor in relation to the Government's free schools policy.
Conservative Richard Fuller (Bedford) said Michael Gove was "not radical enough" when it came to the issue.
He asked: "Will you take the opportunity today to state unequivocally your support for free schools and will you bring forward new ideas for rapid expansion across the country?"
Ms Morgan said it was "always very exciting" to be tempted or asked to be more radical.
She added: "Absolutely, I'm undimmed in my commitment to free schools and look forward to working with you and members on all sides in getting more free schools up and running."
