NEW SPONSOR FOR GERMAN TEAM
A German company has returned to cycling after BORA was confirmed as the new title sponsor of the NetApp-Endura squad from 2015.
BORA, the manufacturer of cooktops and cooktop extractor systems, has committed itself for five years, team manager Ralph Denk has announced.
It is the first time since 2010 that there will be a German professional team with a main German sponsor.
"I am delighted to announce that with BORA we again have a German company back in professional cycling as a title sponsor," Denk said on netapp-endura.com.
"In BORA we have acquired a title sponsor that is entrepreneur-led, growing healthy, commercially well established and not afraid to compete with its innovations against the big companies.
"I can see clear parallels with our team."
BORA owner Willi Bruckbauer added: "We now want to present our innovative products to a wider public and we want to support our export offensive.
"The naming right in professional cycling is an ideal tool for this project. Now is exactly the right moment to become the title sponsor."
