STREET STABBING VICTIM IDENTIFIED

A man who died after a street stabbing has been named by police.

Hassan Mohammed, 24, from Camberwell, south-east London, was found dead in York Road, Southend, Essex, at about 7pm on Monday.

A post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death is due to take place later today, Essex Police said.

Six men, aged between 17 and 19, are from Southend, Basildon and London, remain in custody.

Witnesses should contact detectives at Southend on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
