BERRY UP FOR TWO TVCHOICE AWARDS
Culinary guru Mary Berry is in the running for two prizes at the TVChoice Awards, as nominations were announced.
The 79-year-old sees her hit show The Great British Bake Off taking on ratings winners such as The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing for the best talent show title.
And her BBC2 series Mary Berry Cooks is in the best food show category at the awards which will be staged on September 8.
ITV period drama Downton Abbey competes for a trio of prizes - best drama, best actor (Allen Leach) and best actress (Joanne Froggett) - while BBC1's Sherlock, Waterloo Road and Happy Valley are among the programmes which have double nominations.
Also in the best actor shortlist are Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), David Tennant (The Escape Artist) and Bradley Walsh (Law & Order: UK), while the other actress nominees are Laurie Brett (Waterloo Road), Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley) and Judy Parfitt (Call The Midwife).
Waterloo Road - which is to come to an end next year after a decade on BBC1 - is up for best drama series, competing against Call The Midwife, Downton Abbey and Sherlock.
Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is up for best entertainment show - which it won last year - against Celebrity Juice, Gogglebox and The Graham Norton Show.
The ceremony, staged at London's Hilton on Park Lane is to be hosted by comic David Mitchell and viewers can cast their votes at tvchoicemagazine.co.uk.
