THOMAS HANDED PENALTY POINTS
Somerset bowler Alfonso Thomas has been hit with three penalty points under the England and Wales Cricket Board's disciplinary code.
Thomas, 37, was reported by umpires Rob Bailey and Peter Hartley during the recently-concluded LV= County Championship match against Lancashire for throwing a ball "at or near" an opponent.
The points remain on Thomas' record for two years, with the accumulation of nine points bringing an automatic suspension.
Leicestershire's Nathan Buck has been reprimanded under the code, having been removed from the attack in the NatWest T20 Blast match against Yorkshire on Tuesday.
