Grave concerns for man missing in SA lake

Police hold grave concerns for a man missing in the waters of a lake southeast of Adelaide more than two days after he failed to return.

The 31-year-old and a 19-year-old man had set off from near Milang on Lake Alexandrina in an inflatable canoe, but the alarm was raised about 11.30am on Friday when they failed to return.

Police say they "miraculously" found the younger man floating in the water just before 3pm on Saturday and he was treated for hypothermia.

Officers also found their inflatable canoe, but there was no sign of the older man.

Searchers did not find the 31-year-old on Sunday either with the search suspended until Monday.
