Qld driver dies after hitting kangaroo
Two people have died in separate crashes in Queensland, including a man who police believe had struck a kangaroo before his car rolled down an embankment near Townsville.
Police attended the scene in Bohle Plains on Saturday and found the 40-year-old's body, with initial investigations suggesting the crash happened at about 3.30am.
Forensic crash unit investigations are continuing, Queensland Police said.
A 66-year-old woman also died on Saturday in Kearneys Spring, near Toowoomba, after suffering a suspected medical episode.
Police say her car rolled through an intersection before hitting a traffic sign, mounting the gutter and colliding with a power box.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
