CCTV shows armed robbery of Sydney worker
Video footage of a food delivery driver being kicked in the head and robbed at knifeponit in western Sydney has been released in a bid to help solve the crime.
A 20-year-old man was assaulted by a stranger while sitting on a bench outside Wentworthville Railway Station about 10pm on May 18, NSW Police said on Wednesday.
The victim was also threatened with a knife.
The assailant demanded money before forcing the man to walk to a nearby ATM machine, but he ran into a pizza shop alerting staff of the assault.
The attacker stole the man's food delivery bag, wallet and scooter which was last seen turning into a park near Finlaysons Creek.
Police have now released CCTV of a man, who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
He is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance, 178cm tall, with an athletic build.
