Stolen car seized in Adelaide pursuit
An allegedly stolen car has been seized and a man arrested after an almost two-hour pursuit through Adelaide's northeastern suburbs.
The white Audi SUV was stopped after 8.30pm on Wednesday in Hoods Street, Northfield, after first being reported at 6.45pm.
A motorist had seen the car driving erratically on Bridge Road.
A police patrol spotted it close to 7.30pm, but lost sight of it.
Police then deployed an helicopter to find the car, which had its tyres spiked at 8.30pm.
It continued travelling over North East Road before coming to a stop and being surrounded by police.
The vehicle keys had been stolen in a southern suburb house on Monday, police said.
The arrested 41-year-old Valley View man is expected to face charges over illegal use and engage in police pursuit.
