Vic yard fight victim identity released
An alleged trespasser killed in a fight after a woman believed he was acting suspiciously has been identified as Ahmet Gezer.
Mr Gezer, 37, was killed after the woman called her husband when she saw him in the front yard of her Dandenong North home at around 5am on Monday.
The two men went down the road and a fight took place, with Mr Gezer left unconscious and later dying in hospital.
The 31-year-old Dandenong North man was interviewed and released by police.
Detective Inspector Tim Day said police are trying to work out if reasonable force was used in the altercation.
Police continue to appeal to anyone in the Dandenong North area who may have observed anyone acting suspiciously or may have witnessed the altercation between the two men.
