Sydney man charged with stabbing neighbour

A man has been charged with wounding his neighbour at a unit in Sydney's west.

Police and ambulance were called to a unit complex in Hector Street in Chester Hill on Tuesday after 11am on Tuesday.

A 32-year-old man was found inside a unit suffering stab wounds to his back, chest and arms. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

A 42-year-old man was found in a nearby unit with a severed earlobe and a cut to his arm. He was taken to Auburn Hospital under police guard.

He was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and refused bail to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Thursday.
