Driver charged after fatal NSW crash
A woman has been charged with numerous offences including dangerous driving occasioning death after a fatal two-car crash northeast of Dubbo.
Before 2.40pm on Tuesday, a Honda and a Mazda crashed head-on about 15 kilometres southeast of Mendooran on the Castlereagh Highway.
The 24-year-old female passenger of the Mazda was taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment, but did not survive.
The 27-year-old female driver of the Mazda was taken to the same hospital for facial injuries, neck and back pain.
The 43-year-old female driver of the Honda was on Wednesday charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, negligent driving occasioning death, and drive with misconduct.
She was granted bail and is due to appear before Dubbo Local Court in January 2020.
