Alleged bikie accused of NSW road rage

An alleged Bandidos bikie has been refused bail, accused of a road rage attack on the side of a Sydney motorway in which another man was assaulted.

Police allege the 32-year-old was driving on Monday evening when he became angry about the car in front of him stopping at a yellow light.

Both cars pulled into an emergency bay on the M1 at Wahroonga and the drivers got out, police say.

A 29-year-old man was allegedly punched to the ground and kicked by two men, who then fled when a passing motorist intervened.

The injured driver, from the NSW Central Coast, was taken to hospital with facial injuries and bruises.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at Morriset on Tuesday morning and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.

He was refused bail ahead of an appearance at Toronto Local Court.
